Title: Elishama+ Coat on Joseph (Pa)

If I were to use Elishama's ability to place coat of mail on Joseph, would it be discarded when Joseph enters battle, or will it stay on Joseph indefinitely?

Joseph (Pa): "When Coat of Many Colors is played on Joseph, it remains on him until discarded."

The wording is put in a way that suggests it would be discarded, as 'until it is discarded' is a condition being met upon entering battle. Is this correct?

FYi, it would probably be wise to post Elishama's ability, as that is the important one:

Key phrase: "...that Enhancement activates, and is discarded immediately." So even though Joseph's ability overrides the usual default of discarding Enhancements after battle, it does not override Elishama's discard ability. So it would be discarded once it activates, allowing Joseph to use his coat for only that battle.
