I'm interested to see others' thoughts on which cards' special abilities fit the best with the Scriptures. Many of these cards are not used in competitive play, because they're not necessarily "winning" cards, which is a shame. But I thought I could start a thread that would get us thinking about, or better yet, reading our bible some more to see how well these abilities tie in. I went down the list of heroes (except TxP), and these are some of my favorites so far. And please nothing as simple as "can band to so and so". Banding is too obvious. Rather, I'm looking for a special ability that seems unique and seems to fit perfectly the way it happened, or is worded, in the bible. These are those cards where you really appreciate the genius of whomever designed that card, because it must be REALLY hard to make a card game that simulates bible events.
By the way, I'm also starting a thread of those cards that make you go "Um, how does this special ability fit with the bible story." Please add to that one as well, and maybe we'll get some answers!
Jepthah (probably my number one pick, the ability just fits perfectly with what happened in the bible)

Tabitha
Please add some more cards, good/evil, enhancements, artifacts, dominants, whatever! Thanks.

I'd say Judah (TexP) is probably one of the best heroes in this regard.

I think the Saul/Paul card is a perfect match.

Interesting note about Saul/Paul from a playtester perspective:
Rob and Doug completely surprised the playtesters with the multi-color aspect. We all thought Paul was going to be mono-green.
I kept trying to get Rob to lower the stats so that his "Enhancements used by Paul can't be negated" would actually do something. I pleaded for the stats to be lowered to 7/7 or 8/8 at the highest. Rob just said something kinda like "Your request has been noted, but we will not be changing him at this time."
Then, the set releases, and Paul is multi-color! I was very pleasantly surprised. :)
