I've been looking at Agur recently and am wondering what everyone thinks are the best cards to use his ability to place. I've though of one, but I want to hear others' opinions.
Type: Hero Char. • Brigade: Yellow • Ability: 8 / 9 • Class: None • Special Ability: You may place an O.T. Enhancement from hand (or discard pile if Book of the Law is active) on a human Hero of matching brigade in your territory. The next time that Hero enters battle, that Enhancement activates and is discarded immediately.

Obedience of Noah, Rueben's Torn Clothes, Holy Unto the Lord... just depends on what you want to do.
-
Agur specifically places Battle Prayer most often in decks I use him in. Jahaziel usually places Valor of Warriors or A Warrior's Prayer, and Elishama usually places Holy unto the Lord.
-
They don't have to place matching enhancements... any reason you do this?

He plays Rouge most of the time I'm guessing.

This.

If you're looking for yellow enhancements in particular, I like Samson's Sacrifice, Acts of Solomon, Taking Egypts Wealth, and Plague of Flies.
-
Samson's Sacrifice is IMO the most useful when placed.

Holy unto the Lord, Put your Color guard in a Teal site and Block with Rehoboam (or start any Hero/hero side battle and give them Holy unto the Lord. Make them Shuffle their EC's and d/c their evil cards (including evil DOM's)
That is what I dream about when I think of Agur....

And that's what Ben tried to do against me at nationals. It was Kurk's deck. But he forgot to give me the guy with zeal. ;D Also, he made one other mistake that cost him dearly.

Zeal or Holy unto the Lord. ANd Kirk had some help building that deck. I first heard that idea from a guy named Jacob Stroh when he and I and Jonathan Pequinot were talking about what to do with placed enhancements last year. I built a deck around that combo. It was fun to pull off, but you needed something like an Unknown Nation to be active when you did it because you ended up shuffling your own EC's up too, so if no UN then you ended up giving up a free soul, but you were able to walk in the next turn.

That's what the color guard was for in his deck. ;)
