I just came up with this, and i have no idea if it would work very well or not, but here's my idea.
you have a bunch of heroes in your territory. you walk in with gideon to gideon's 300. Gideon's 300 sets aside all of your heroes. you then (hopefully) have initiative and play balance. because you just set aside all of your heroes, there should hopefully be a lot more evil cards than good, and go on a territory destruction spree and use your last discards to get rid of any guys in battle.
Balance: "If two or more Heroes are in battle and if there are more evil cards in play than good cards, discard evil cards from play until the number of evil cards equals the number of good cards."

Actually that would be bad because you'd have to discard all your evil cards too! :o
