Just wanting to know some fun deck ideas people have come up with and lets avoid talking about CoL please lol.
-
It's been awhile since I did it but I built a deck discard deck prior to early church that was a ton of fun.
Spy
Amasai the raider
Gabriel (the on that discard an enhancement opponents deck)
Jephtha (the red one)
Ishmiah, The Gibeonite
Uriah, The Hittite
Red David
Both older Red centurians
Asahel
Warriors Spear
Foreign Spear
Bravery of David
A soldiers prayer
Council of Abigail
Centurion Proclamation
Holy Grail
Huge Egyptian
Egyptian Horseman
Queen Taphenes
Salome
Evil Spawn (the gold one)
Beheaded
Egyptian Spear
Pithom
Given over to Egypt
Deck discard LS
Hand Discard Lost Soul
I don't remember the rest of it lol.
There is more deck targeting stuff on defense just can't remember it all. Jerome hated playing against it. It could beat anything with a couple good deck hits but it didn't have the power to win without some luck.

My disappearing Lost Souls deck was always fun to use.
Burial
Nebushasban (sometimes converted to a Hero) or Prisoner Transfer (to swap LS with my opponent)
Death of Unrighteous, Swine Stampede and Hormah (to shuffle/underdeck my opponent's LS back into his deck)
Divination+Jephthah (before the "LS discarded from deck go to play" rule)
8)

Wow, Divination+ Jephthah is ridiculous by itself

Yeah even if there wasn't a LS in the 6, it usually wasn't too hard to find a card I was willing to sacrifice to take out an EC or two. :P

I remember at one point Jordan built a deck that was pretty much only Heroes. I think he might've had some dominants but no ECs, EEs, or GEs. I think he beat me with it once but it would be a lot more difficult to pull off now with all the banding counters and CBP stuff.
Oh, and yes, this is the same Jordan who piloted Heroless for a number of years.

After Justin's "Speed Freak" I build a 100 card "Fortress" deck to counter it. Choose the blocker offense , 75 card defense. I wouldn't play it against newer players because it would just make them cry.

Type 2: Temple guard plays Babel and bands in Spirit of Temptation to put Persistent Pestering under deck, or you can do Bronze Laver and put Persistent Pestering under deck prior to. Opponent attacks and you block Temple Guard, Babel, Evil Spawn play Pestering and underdeck Pestering then band in pestering Spirit.
Another easy block is they rescue, you block with Deceuving Spirit if you have initiative, play Pestering, then play babel. All you need is a couple words to make it work and in type 2 you're running multiples of them. Easy to get going and I run a very fast offense to ensure I get this out.

My favorite deck was called, "What Characters." It was a prophet/babylonian deck that focused on capture, setting opponents aside, and shuffling the characters. Was quite fun to play. Even made it into a type two deck.

Another neat trick for this deck - capture hero to opponent (pauls belt?), exchange with exchange ls, and I am Redemption. Also, that one card (can't remember the name right now) that returns enh to hand can be fun when using prisoner transfer/just a hireling, and it can even return a false peace used to set it up.

A deck with I am Love, Faith of Moses' Parents and Word of Christ using a musician offense. Doesn't work all the time, but it is fun.
