So I was trying to think of ways to maximize Abom. I came up with the following.
Block with King Rehoboam. Choose Martha to fight The Thankful Leper. Your opponent controls TTLeper. From here you bring in the classic gold combo of Battle Prayer and Highway but instead of using Furnace of God's Wrath you use Meeting the Messiah. You can also play Love of Jesus if Rehoboam would not have initiative against the original Hero that the opponent used to block. After you get back to the original rescue attempt you play Sarah's Jealousy and force your opponent to rescue with Zebulun. You shouldn't have any trouble with Zeb ignoring because of the cards you forced to be drawn with Martha and MtM. From this series you get 3 discards in one turn and are able to repeat it. If your opponent is playing demons then you just get 2 out of it, but you also get the discarding that results from House in Bethany.

Yeah that is good but then they put down everything that they just drew...

Where it's wide open to Wrath of Satan and Ehud or SS.

Yeah but now you ust added more cards to an already high card count combo.
-
If they put them down they just become fodder for the combo.

Except that you have The Thankful Leper, who is definitely NOT a Genesis Hero, out making his SA useless... :P
I do agree that Rehoboam could make for some nasty Abom combos (but then he can make for some nasty almost anything combos).
