A way to draw with Isaiah if there isn't an Isaiah card in discard pile.
1.
1. Play Divination on Magician.
2. Play Live Coal on Isaiah to discard Divination.
3. Discard Live Coal.
4. Go out with Isaiah to put Live Coal on drawpile.
5. Draw Live Coal + X-1 Isaiah Angels.
Divination (TP)
Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Pale Green • Ability: 6 / 0 • Class: Territory • Special Ability: If used by a Magician, look at the top six cards of deck. Select one evil card and add it to hand or battle. Return the rest to the top and/or bottom of deck in any order. Cannot be interrupted. • Play As: If used by a Magician, search the top six cards of deck for one evil card and place in hand or add to battle. Place the rest on the top and/or bottom of deck in any order. Cannot be interrupted.
Live Coal (FF2)
Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Silver/Green • Ability: 4 / 2 • Class: Territory • Special Ability: Negate and discard an evil Enhancement or Curse. •Verse: Isaiah 6:6-7
Isaiah (FF2)
Type: Hero Char. • Brigade: Green • Ability: 7 / 8 • Class: None • Special Ability: Protect purple Kings from opponents. Search discard pile for a good Isaiah card and place it on deck to draw X. Good Isaiah cards cannot be negated. • Identifiers: OT Male Human, Prophet, X = the number of your Isaiah Angels

I must not be understanding how your combo works. Divination would be discarded after played in territory, and Live Coal is not Territory Class. Is there another way you meant this to work?

Hm, didn't know Live Coal was TC. So, why not just play Live Coal and not discard anything? And I'm pretty sure Divination goes to discard immediately after use.

Aren't things that can't target anything a discard instead of a play?
Like if you play FA but everyone has Guardian you go to your discard phase because you discarded a card?

Nope, you can play. Just like you can play enhancements against a Thad with backup, but they can't target anything.
