I was tempted to put Eagles as NFC East leader and Cowboys as Wild card 1 and Lions as Wild card 2.
I will have to admit my heart was more involved than my brain in picking the Broncos to win it all. :)

Thoughts: Patriots are on a 4 game winning streak. They have the best pass defense in the league, and have one of the best QBs of all time and one of the best coaches of all time. Throw in the fact they have Rob Gronkowski... you get it. Tom Brady with time and Gronk, its a win. That terrible offensive line, allowed 0 sacks today against a top 5 sack team. Its not just Gronk, Brady has other toys too. Tim Wright added his 3rd TD of the year, Branden LaFell is becoming a serious threat in the offense, and Minitron.

Let's not get too cocky, especially if we have to play the Giants again in the Super Bowl. ;)
The media woke the "sleeping dog" with Brady. But remember that Gronk has had his share of injuries, sometimes because he was targeted. The other receivers are still unproven in the long run. We can be hopeful indeed, but I wouldn't take anything for granted. The 4-game streak is nice, but it was not against teams like the ones that are coming up next: Denver, Indianapolis, Detroit, Green Bay and San Diego. If we can keep that streak against those teams, then I would think the Patriots will be on most people's Super Bowl list. ;D

AFC Champs: Broncos
AFC North- Bengals
AFC South- Colts
AFC East- Patriots
AFC West- Broncos
AFC Wild Card 1- Ravens
AFC Wild Card 2- Chiefs
NFC Champs: Cowboys Packers
NFC North- Packers
NFC South- Panthers
NFC East- Cowboys
NFC West- Cardinals
NFC Wild Card 1- Eagles
NFC Wild Card 2- Lions
SB Champs: Broncos
Chiefs defense is legit #1 in passing yards (despite playing Rivers, Manning, and Brady holding each to less than 300 yards passing), #3 in points, #3 in 3rd down conversions (defensive), #4 in sacks, and haven't given up a rushing TD all year. Defense should be even better if Berry gets healthy. As long as Andy doesn't go Andy and stop running the ball like he's done a couple time this year and his entire time in Philly should continue to control the clock against most teams.
Could see Pitt, SD, Buffalo, or KC getting the last WC in AFC.

:police: Moderator Note: Please be kind when responding to each other. 2 facts are typically true in "pick 'em ideas." 1. Some people may not follow the sport closely, and thus use different methods than hardcore fans to pick teams. 2. Some people pick based on personal biases.
Either way, let people enjoy their opinion without singling them out.
Thanks! :police:

Last 36 hours to get picks in and finalized.

Hmmm, Peyton Manning just got well, simply put, destroyed. Sure he got a lot of yards, but yards don't win games, points do. Broncos got outplayed in all 3 phases. So yeah my picks are the same.

Well the Redemption Cash prize for this contest will be irrelevant after the Super Bowl, but the prestige of being right still remains. ;D
Let's see how I'm doing so far:
AFC
Champs- Patriots still to be determined
North- Steelers still to be determined
South- Colts Correct
East- Patriots Correct
West- Broncos Correct
Wild Card 1- Chiefs still to be determined
Wild Card 2- Browns Incorrect
NFC
Champs- Cowboys still to be determined
North- Lions still to be determined
South- Saints Incorrect
East- Cowboys Correct
West- Cardinals still to be determined
Wild Card 1- Eagles Incorrect
Wild Card 2- Packers still to be determined
Super Bowl- Patriots still to be determined
I guess I went with the Browns since they were featuring former Patriots backup QB Brian Hoyer. Sentimentality.... sheesh... ;)
Speaking of sentimentality, my wife's family being Eagles fans had nothing to do with me thinking they were playoff bound... ::)
I like Drew Brees as a person and as a QB, but I seriously thought they would finish above .500.

Of the 4 teams that have clinched so far - I am correct. However, I see my choices of the Bills and 49ers were off, and leaving out the Seahawks was a bad choice.
