Week 1 Fantasy options

Would like some advice for my fantasy team.

I have my 2nd receiver and Flex spot to fill--who would you start?

Jeremy Maclin--Eagles #2 WR (Away v St. Louis)
Steve Breaston--KC #2 WR (Home v Buffalo)
Deion Branch--NE #3 WR (Away v Miami)
Joseph Addai--Colts #1 RB (Away v Houston)

Right now I'm leaning towards Addai (Colts will rely on him alot with Manning out) and Maclin (Eagles should put up a ton of points on St. Louis).

However, I feel that Branch and Breaston are also viable because of their match-ups this week.

imo, start them in this order:

Joseph Addai
Jeremy Maclin
Steve Breaston
Deion Branch

Addai is a lock to me, but if you decide against Maclin, the next guy would be tricky. I could see Breaston and Branch both doing well, but both could get stuck in a low scoring game. If it came down to those two, then Breaston wins imo.

How I would order them:

Addai  (yes, he is a focus with Manning out, but another scenario is that Colt offense is shut down completely)
Branch  (he has a good relationship with Brady and 85 is still iffy in my book)
Maclin  (he says he's ready, but Eagles have so many options for Vick, maybe Vick doesn't think Maclin's ready)
Breaston  (new QB, new system, more focus on running for Chiefs)
Final ANB errata: Return player to game.

Addai is pretty much a lock for my flex spot, so it basically comes down to my second receiver. I forgot one player to mention...Steve Smith for the Panthers. Yes he has a rookie QB not known for accuracy, but Smith (at least at one point) had that crazy "just throw it in my general direction and I'll go get it" ability, so I gotta think Newton's gonna give him plenty of chances being he doesn't have a ton of other offensive weapons. I got him fairly late in a 12 team league so I think he could be a sleeper if Newton gives him the opportunities.

My QB situation is also interesting...I have Rodgers as my #1 so I'm set, but I also have Alex Smith, who I am really intrigued by...if there is ever going to be a year where he blossoms, it has to be this year with Crabtree in from the start, Braylon Edwards looking to resurrect his career and obviously Vernon Davis who will be a stud as usual. I'm really hoping Smith goes huge in the first few weeks so I can use him as trade bait for a stud running back. Right now my RBs are Shonn Greene and Ahmad Bradshaw--both solid I think, but I'd love to have a top 5 RB.

Maclin can have great games and games where he only has one catch.  Where as Addia is always reliable to get caries/passes.

Alex Smith has such a history that I doubt you could get a top 5 RB for him even if he goes "lights out" the first few weeks.  Maybe a newb fantasy player...or the current owner of Peyton, lol!

Bradshaw should be a stud.  I like Greene.  He's a Hawkeye!  But I think if he struggles a bit early, Tomlinson will take away a lot of touches.  Ryan seems to have little patience.  I would normally go with Maclin over Branch and Breaston, 9 times out of 10, but this first week after a long lockout...I just don't know.  Shoot, look at what Randall Cobb did last night!  As for Steve Smith, I just don't trust him in his current environment.  I think he puts up numbers similar to last year.  I had several chances to draft him in late rounds and bypassed him each time.

Bradshaw is a beast. I don't see Alex Smith this year ever being worth more than the running backs you already have on your team.
