I'm going to have to pick the Giants to win this one, for a very simple reason, in the 3 games the patriots have played against teams who ended the season with a winning record (and this includes their game against the giants), the patriots have scored an average of 20 points, lost 2 of the games and only won the last one on a dropped touchdown and a missed field goal.  The patriots haven't played many teams with winning records this season, but when they have the celebrated offense has done rather poorly, and I think the Giants can take advantage of the Patriots defense.

Statements like this are exactly why I think the Pats will win. Any time there is even a shadow of a doubt, the combined force that is Tom Brady and Bill Belichick take it personally and go crazy.

If I ever get the chance to...

So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.  - Matthew 17:20

...I'll look at the Rockies and say, "You guys look good right where you're at.  Job well done!"

I just hope Tim Tebow takes the puck and kicks a homerun into the hoop right past the goalie.
Thanks, for that it's been a long time.

... they have to face against a rival city to New England, or better known as "Boston".

I disagree with this statement. New England is comprised of six states: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
well, how was i suppose to know that? im from the south and that's my only excuse

If you are looking for a good cause, the Patriots are being inspired by the memory of the owner's wife, who passed away this past year. That is why the Patriots wear a patch that says MHK, which were her initials. Some players called her "momma" because of her demeanor with the players.

During the last game, you may have noticed the Patriots running back after the first touchdown. Rather than do a dance, he went up to the camera and pointed to the MHK patch, stretching it out from his jersey.

Personally, I am looking forward to this Super Bowl. The last time we played the Giants, the players were pretty high on themselves since they were undefeated. They were playing for the wrong reasons, which made them prime for the fall. This year they are playing as a tribute to a woman they respected. I am hopeful that they do not forget that, and instead start playing for revenge of 2008. If they play for the wrong reasons, they will be setting themselves up to lose again.

Go Patriots! Be humble!  ;D

So the only team to beat the Giants twice this year was.... that's right, my Washington Redskins.  8)

I've already seen 4 variations on how the Patriots are terrible football players.  If going 13-4 is terrible, I don't want to live on this planet anymore.  It certainly was an entertaining game.

The people I feel the most sorry for are the Packers fans.

I watched the game on a projector screen by the poolside in the balmy 80-degree Florida weather. My son was swimming with his friends during the game. I guess if I had to watch my Patriots lose to the Giants again, at least I got to do it in style.

So let me get this straight: Tom Brady, the best quarterback in the NFL right now (if anyone wants to argue that, they can, but they're wrong), starts off the Super Bowl with an intentional grounding resulting in a safety? I understand that that was as much the Giants' defense being on top of him, but even so, if anyone had proposed that a safety would be Brady's first play, they would have been laughed at. He helped make up for it with two excellent drives, but I have to concede that as much as I wanted the Patriots to win, the Giants played a better game.

Intentional Grounding is a stupid penalty to me. It punishes Qbs who are intelligent enough to throw the ball away without throwing it somewhere that it could be easily intercepted. Why is that a bad thing? The QB position is all about making the best decision based on the given situation and when you are standing in your own end zone with no one open getting rid of the ball is the best decision. Stupid penalty is stupid.

Patriots receivers dropping all those passes in the 4th quarter is what killed them. Pats killed themselves, Giants only needed to coast to win.

So we have nothing new this year.  Patriots Giants win again. Rest of the country tries to make excuses to why they won the Patriots lost.

No excuses they lost the game. Intentionally grounding is a dumb penalty, but it was called correctly. Welker dropped a pass that could have sealed the game, Branch and Hernandez both dropped passes on the attempted game winning drive, 12 men on the field penalty that negated the fumble was bad. Pats beat themselves last night.

The one reason I am thankful to be a bills fan, I may very well go my entire life and never know the disappointment of making it all the way in to the super bowl only to lose it in the final 2 minutes. As disappointing as this years collapse was, that would be SO much worse.

I was 2 when the last of those games occurred. Did not experience.

I also have never watched, and never plan to watch, any video of those events. If though I already know they lost I would still freak out when Norwood missed that field goal. Too painful. "No goal" was bad enough.

Tom Brady, the best quarterback in the NFL right now
I'd love to argue this. Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees over Brady. Brady has the #1 Ranked offensive line, Deion Branch, Wes Welker, Gronk, and Hernandez. It's easy to be the best when you have the #1 TE, and the #1 WR. True Rodgers has a top 5 TE, Drews has the #2 TE, and all three have an excellent receiving corps, but Brady's offensive line is too good to put him over Rodgers or Brees.
