the preds beat the red wings and advance further into the Stanley cup tournament!!!!

funny thing about the Stanley Cup, i share a name that it does "Stanley"

2008 Stanley Cup Champions? Gone.
2009 Champs? Done.
2010 Champions? Facing Elimination
2011 Champions? Facing Elimination.
2012 President's trophy winners? Bounced in 4.

I am surprised there aren't any posts talking about Holtby. Third string goalie with next to no experience facing off against the defending champs.

My Capitals are playing this one down to the wire - we keep squandering each home ice opportunity we get. We will have to pick up a 3rd win on Wed in Boston to advance.

He's playing well but he's being overshadowed by Mike Smith and Pekka Rinne at the moment. I am still surprised that neither Vokoun nor Nuevrith are it net, I know Vokoun is injured but I thought he was supposed to be bad by now and it's the playoffs so usually players play injured this time of year.

I didn't know there were any Caps fans here. I wish he wasn't doing so well for my Bruins' sake.

The Bruins have outshot the Caps 216-180, but each team has given up 14 goals. The Bruins outshot the Caps in 4 out of 6 games. Ironically, the 2 games that the Caps had more shots were both Bruins wins.

Adios Boston! Man these playoffs are going amazing. Already the best team of the regular season is out, and 2 low seeds have won in the east. With the other 2 series going to game 7s there is a distinct possibility that all 4 of the top 4 seeds in the east will be sent home in the first round. I love hockey.
