okay!! we got our final 4 in major league baseball
for the American League Championship Series, we have the New York Yankees playing against the Detroit Tigers.
and for the National League Championship Series, we have the San Francisco Giants facing against the defending world series champs, the St. Louis Cardinals.
no telling whose gonna win but all i know is this should be one of the most interesting championship series to date!!
and in closing all i have to say is;
GOOOOO CARDINALS!!!!!!!!

Not a fan of any of the teams left and honestly baseball has been dead to me since 98 when Sammy Steroids and Mark McCheater broke Babe's HR record
They havnt done anything to show me they are clean yet and the yankee's buying championships has my interest in Baseball at zero percent and that's on a good day

Then look at the Orioles, who took those Yankees to Game 5 in the ALDS without the huge payroll, using cast-offs who have 'done-it-right' through their careers, and playing baseball the old-fashioned way. Join the Orange Side ;)

That was the only storyline that held any of my interest this year at all an I was actually at one oriels game for a church event this year
If I root for anyone it's them and the mariners.
Only issue is I am Steelers fanatical and it's hard to root for the O's know they cheer for the Ratbirds as well lol

Technically....
Hank Aaron (Edit: and Barry Bonds) was the most recent player to break Baby Ruth's Home Run record.
McGuire, Sosa, and Bonds broke Roger Maris' single season home run record.
As for me, the playoffs were done with the Reds' elimination. I was rooting for the Rangers and Reds. I mildly followed the Orioles, but the Reds' collapse was too much pain to watch any other games.

Oh snap
Well the titans reached into the wine cellar and uncorked some vintage hasslebeck from 2007 for that win.

Well, since Maris' record had an asterisk for so many years, I think we'll just put a double-asterisk on everyone after Maris. ;)

got that right!! seems very ironic how last year, hasselbeck didn't do good and locker did but this year, locker is doing awful while hasselbeck just returned and did some damage, seems like the collins/young bit that happened a few years ago when young got taken out, collins went in and became our official starter and the year folowing, collins did sloppy and after the bye, young came in and did some damage. lol

That is not a fair assessment of Locker, especially since he left via injury. His 90.2 QB rating is pretty good for a second year player. All of his numbers are better than Hasselbeck's. The fact that Hasselbeck can lead a team to victory coming into a game he didn't start is a sign of a veteran QB. Locker needs to time to develop. He's only 24 years old.

ok i got ahead of myself before i could been say a good thing about locker. locker has been a good qb this year and being a rookie he's got those rookie jitters which is understandable.

No worries, I am an Orioles fan and not a Nationals fan. I am a Redskins fan and not a Ravens fan. Now you can root for the Orioles.
