I make a RA with a teal character, my opponent blocks, has initiative plays Rizpah's sackcloth, I play Zeal for the Lord chucking the EC in battle, and one in his territory. What is the result? I think I win the Lost soul since there is no ec in battle for RS to activate on, right?

Assuming your opponent doesn't interrupt Zeal, you would win the battle, as RS can't reactivate on a dead guy. Whether or not you get the LS depends on what else can happen between the EC dying and your opponent handing you a soul.
