I use an enhancement to band other characters into battle and one of those is carrying a weapon?
Is the weapon or the enhancement granting the band the last one that was played in battle then?
Reason: For an enhancement which negates the last opposite enhancement played in battle this is essential to now.

Weapons count as played when they enter battle, so the weapon.

What if a hero enters battle with a placed enh on him (let’s say Kindness). Would Ish’s Sword be able to target Kindness if Kindness was already played prior to battle?

Enhancements are played when they are used by characters. Placed enhancements are used prior to the placing, weapons are used each time the character they are equipped to enters battle. So Ish's Sword couldn't target Kindness if it was placed prior the battle.
