Chamber and David's Harp

If my angel loses a battle and I have Chamber of Angels in my set aside area and David's Harp active, can I choose which one saves my angel?  or does it have to go into Chamber?

Chamber of Angels -
Set this fortress aside. If holder's angel is being discarded, place it here instead. After two turns, return Hero to the top of your draw pile.

David's Harp -
Following a rescue attempt holder may select one Hero that is about to be discarded and place Hero on top of owner's draw pile. Prevent Evil Spirit. • Play As: Following any rescue attempt holder may select one of holder’s Heroes that was or is about to be discarded from battle and place Hero on top of owner's deck. Prevent Evil Spirit.
Epic pouting maneuver!

I have both of these in my deck, as well as Chariots of fire, and I THINK in a situation like that, you get to choose, but I could be mistaken. Its late, I'm tired, so I'm not to sure.

I also believe you have a choice.

David's Harp. It says "is about to be discarded." And then you save him, BEFORE he is discarded.

Chamber says "being discarded." If you use David's Harp, then he isn't being discarded.
As a national champion, I support ReyZen deck pouches.

Chamber says "being discarded." If you use David's Harp, then he isn't being discarded.

REG: "There is no distinction between 'instantly discarded', 'being discarded', and 'about to be discarded.'"

I believe Chamber of Angels triggers first, then David's Harp. But David's Harp can take it from Chamber of Angels and put it on the deck anyways, I would think.

Hey,

I agree that the player would get to choose if the character went to Chamber or the top of the draw pile.
