Title: U&T in T2-MP
Post by: BubbleBoy on July 17, 2009, 09:10:32 AM
So, in Type 2 you can have up to three of any artifact per 100 cards, right? So if you have three Urim and Thummim (http://redemptionreg.com/REG/urimandthummim.htm)'s in your artifact pile, can you activate all three in succession to look at everyone's hand and then activate a new artifact?

No, U&T cannot be used to activate another copy of U&T.  I believe it's because another copy of U&T would not be considered a different Artifact.

"You may then deactivate this Artifact and activate a different Artifact."

I thought the answer would be something like that.

I like your thinking tho!

but does it mean different as in 'different from this artifact' or different as in 'different in name completely'?

Hey,

If you have a temple I imagine you could activate U&T on the temple then activate something else on the temple, then activate U&T on your artifact pile.

Well, not quite...

Quote from: REG>Glossary of Terms>Definitions>Temple Artifacts
NOTE: Several items may be periodically found in the temple, but are not considered part of this category (e.g., Asherah Pole, Priestly Breastplate (C Deck) or Priestly Breastplate (Priests), Priestly Crown, Urim and Thummim)

EDIT--Unless...the new REG lists these 'periodic' artifacts as temple artifacts? That would be sweet...

Hey,

Right, maybe I should actually use a Z-temple deck before trying to suggest strategies for it.
