Title: Type 2 Question - Creation of the World

Creation of the world requires you to "Take all heroes having a Genesis reference out of your draw pile"...

1) do I discard all my "extra" (already in play) heroes searched for...

OR

2) do I simply not put-into-play the excess heroes (leaving them in deck)?

Extra heroes simply don't get put in play.
