Title: Tubal-cain
Post by: Watchman on July 05, 2018, 09:17:45 AM
“...you may play it.”

Regarding the artifact portion of this ability, does the “play it” mean you activate it on the art pile (and possibly deactivate a previous art)? I ask because other cards (as recent as RoJ, brown/crimson Outsiders, for example) say “you may activate it.”

It’s does. IRCC the REG difines what it means to play an artifact under “play” in the glossary. Since this specific ability applies to more than just artifacts we couldn’t use “activate” the way we did on past cards.

That's how I've been playing it but just wanted to make sure.

Thanks
