Title: Toss the Tables!
Post by: Minion of Jesus on August 11, 2014, 04:37:23 PM
With the definition of Toss, would clay enhancements be able to go to Widow's Tables during a toss battle?

Widow's Tables:
If a clay enhancement is discarded (or underdecked) from your hand during battle, you may place it here instead. You deacons may use enhancements from here as if played from hand.

Yes, but because toss is a discard to decrease if you don't actually discard the enhancement because its insteaded to tables you don't get to decrease the opposing character.

Gotcha.

So, another question: Since a weapon class enhancement gets automatically tossed when it is on Foreign Spearman, why doesn't Peace get tossed as soon as an evil character blocks the hero bearing Peace?

This is a really, REALLY good question.

It actually is not tossed because of the way abilities activate.  First, you activate the hero, then you activate the ability on the enhancement.  In the case of FS, you activate the character, then you activate the weapon.  As the character already made it a Toss battle, the weapon is tossed.

So there is not an inconsistency there.

Makes a lot of sense, I was thinking place cards work as gained abilities.

Carry on.

If I would use my head, I would think of these things. Thanks!
