Today
"You may convert an Evil Character in battle..."
Since it does not say a color, you can choose the color, correct?
Can you also convert the Evil Character to an Evil Character of a different brigade since it doesn't say convert to a hero?

If it doesn't specify a brigade, it converts to a brigade of the card with the convert ability. So Today converts to white as good and brown as evil.
