Maximum number of cards in a T1 deck

I've always thought it was 153, but the REG says:
Quote
There is no maximum of cards to a deck as long as it contains the appropriate number of Lost Souls; one Lost Soul for every six cards over fifty (50).

150ish was always kind of the effective limit of T1 deck sizes anyway, since non-ability Characters and Enhancements maxed out at three per deck, and if the point was to basically double and triple (and more) the same 50-ish cards from a small T1 deck, it became more complicated once you got past 150 and the number of cards you could repeat dropped off.

The actual T1 limit is 154 because that is the closest to 150 at exactly a 14 count of lost souls.

So there's nothing stopping me from making a 1000+ card deck?

Aside from irate tournament hosts, that is.

The deck max for T1 is 154 cards.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Rob at one point had a post detailing the new deck limits but that post is now gone.  Did it get deleted or cached any where?  Is this rule no longer applicable?

It's still valid.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Wouldn't a 154 card deck have to have 21 lost souls?

Is it recorded any where?  It makes me more comfortable to have something to point people to.  I hate having to tell people "I can't prove it but trust me that is how it is".

It took me awhile to find it since it's not in any official rulings threads, but here is the announcement from Rob regarding formerly experimental rules that are now official: http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/index.php?topic=12852.msg268271#msg268271

He's got a good point. We should put this somewhere we can get to before its lost.
This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!
