Hello everyone,
I am glad to unveil my latest project. We all know how slow the REG can be. In addition, sometimes we wish we could access it when we don't have internet.
The solution is the offline REG.
The Lite version is about 6 MB and the Full version now not supported (large file hosting is tough). Whenever the REG is updated, I will do my best to quickly update the offline version. Please remember, the offline REG is only up to date through the noted date (currently 9-30-09).

Wow - that was a piece of work. Thanks a lot - it is a great idea!
I would suggest providing everything except the "LinkedDocuments" folder on my website as the "minimum download" and provide the "LinkedDocuments" content separately as the "add-on". That would make it easier to move from the lite to the robust version - you would simply add to the lite version later. It also means that when the REG is updated (but card bitmaps are not), you only have to download the lite version.
You should find 60 new cards in the "LinkedDocuments" directory - all those with "(TP).gif" at the end. I'll load 9 new cards bitmaps shortly for promos I didn't have pictures of before. These are:
1. Goshen (P).gif
2. Windows of Narrow Light (P).gif
3. Panic Demon (P).gif
4. Zerubbabel (P).gif
5. Shobach (P).gif
6. Spirit as a Dove (P).gif
7. Gates of Jerusalem (P).gif
8. Haman (P).gif
9. Jonathan, son of Joiada (P).gif

Does the Full Version ever stop Uploading? The link where I assume I would click to download the REG says "currently uploading..."

Uploading a 200 MB file on my slow upload took a bit. I left it overnight.
However, it is now available! Check out the full version!

For some reason I don't think these new promo's are as secret as everyone was saying they were. Does anyone else know what they do or is that what is being kept secret?

ok, the offline REG has been reuploaded and updated. The latest date is now 9-30. The online REG is still gone, in fact, I'm getting a full 404.

I was on the online REG yesterday, but it has been hit and miss all week. Regardless, thanks for providing the offline REG for us, Cam. Your work is greatly appreciated! :)

I downloaded it and extracted it, and when I go to open it, all I can do is click on a bunch of blue "e" with the name of a card under it. I must have done something wrong? help? ???

Due to some hosting problems, the Offline REG is currently offline (haha). I'm working on a new website and I'm also updating the REG to today, 12-1-09. ANB isn't included yet though. ;)
I'll post with the new link asap.
Also, this thread actually does belong in the Official Rules subforum that was just cleansed. It isn't ruling changes/challenges.

The REG has been dormant for a while because a new major overhaul is being performed. I was not aware it was unavailable some time ago. Sorry about that, but I don't check it all the time (I have a local HTML version on my laptop).
When the major revision to the REG is released early in 2010, it will also be provided in PDF format as well. That option was not possible in the past year, due to software difficulties. From this point forward, it will be a regular release.
