Is there a maximum number of LOST SOUL cards one can have in a deck? If you draw and place, draw and place, draw and place, you should be able to create a choir of 52 LOST SOULs and leave the other 8 cards in hand, no?
A. How many and name them.
B. Get them all in hand.
C. Questions?
A, When you get down to it, exactly how many cards and in what order do you need to play them to win the gane, if you drew them all on the very first turn?
Turn one =
play Hero
play discard evil Charcacter
==== win first LOST SOUL ====
play SON OF GOD
==== win second LOST SOUL ====
play NEW JERUSALEM
==== win third LOST SOUL ====

play hero
play discard evil character
==== win fourth LOST SOUL ====
play 'fish good dominant (SON OF GOD) from discard pile'.

total of two good heroes, two discard evil character cards, SON OF GOD, NEW JERUSALEM, one 'go fish' dominant. That is a total of 5 cards.
B. LOST SOUL Choir
build a deck with 52 lost souls and 8 cards of your choice. Draw, place, draw, place, draew, place, etc. until you have a full choir of LOST SOULs in your LAND OF BONDAGE and those 8 non-lost soul cards in your hand.
Now, do your part A thing and win the game.

The deck building rule for Lost Souls is a requirement, not a minimum, so you can't have more or less than the required amount based on total cards in your deck.
You also only have 1 opportunity to rescue a Lost Soul each turn so your breakdown doesn't work. You attack with a Hero and win the rescue attempt you get 1 Redeemed Soul and the battle phase is over. You could then play SoG+NJ together to get 2 more but that is the maximum outside of enhancements that allow you to rescue. (most of those also make it so that you don't get the normal Redeemed Soul though)
