Title: The Long Day + Grapes of Wrath

What if you play The Long Day in a battle, and then play Grapes of Wrath, assuming you do not have the most redeemed souls? Am I missing something, or would you be able to make two additional rescue attempts that turn?

I'm not sure, but I think starting another battle after Grapes resolves would satisfy the additional rescue of both cards.
