Title: The Foretelling Angel
Post by: ChristianSoldier on June 29, 2017, 04:45:48 PM
The Foretelling Angel
(Territory Class) Protect deck from discard. Play with top card of deck face up: While it's a Daniel card, Daniel characters cannot be negated. If it's a Daniel card, you may add it to hand. Cannot be negated.

So if I have Foretelling Angel in my territory and the top card of my deck is a Daniel card, I can add it to my hand any time (except when another ability is being resolved) much like Gates of Hell, right?

if you build your deck right, it's very plausible to deck out in a few turns. really underrated card imo.

It's great for Daniel decks.

So, one more tricky question to the experts: If my Foretelling Angel gets banded from my territory to my opponent's Hero into the battle what happens then?

Do I still with top card of deck face up (+ rest of ability) ? If so, until when?

I suppose my opponent then plays with top card of deck face up (+ rest of ability) too. But until when?

Your top card would go face down and your deck would lose the protection from discard as TC abilities "turn off" if the character leaves your territory. (If you yourself are placing the character into battle yourself, the ability activates again right away.)

Your opponent would then reveal his top card (and gain the deck protection) for the remainder of that battle.
