For example could we have both WOP out at the same time, so if they IOJ one of them the other kicks in? Any reason we can't also use both of our Unholy Writs at the same time?
Thanks!

Anyone play teams and know the answer? 15 people have read this but I have no answer yet. We have a tournament this weekend and we will need to know. Thanks again.

Make that 27 reads and no answers. Have I stumped you all? Anyone?

Fortresses are shared. Therefore, you and your teammate could not have both WoP out at the same time.

Artifacts are not shared (unless they are in a temple fortress), therefore you could both have Unholy Writ active in your artifact pile, and there is no reason why you couldn't both use it during the same battle.

Why is that, exactly? The scenario listed is a perfect example of why you want to have two of them out. In regular games it is okay to have two or three Babylon sites out, so shouldn't the same be allowed for fortresses?

That goes by game rules though. You can only have one fort in your territory of the same kind. For babylon, you can have as many as you have ls

I think sites are generic.

I think that sites are considered generic in Redemption (therefore you can have more than 1 down at a time), but fortresses are considered unique (therefore you can only have 1 down at a time).

i agree with bag o chips. in sharing a Land of Redemption, Land of Bondage, and Forts you in essence are one player or one deck. that being the case you can't both have duplicates of a unique card with a special ability in play at the same time. Artifacts are different because they are not shared and thus not part of that "one player" twist on the game in the same way Fortresses or occupied sites are.

Now I'm more confused. We CAN have two Moses in play at the same time, right? Or two KOT? I thought that this WAS allowed but you cannot band both into the same battle, for obvious reasons.

Yes, you may have Moses in your territory and your teammate may have Moses in their territory. That is because characters are NOT shared in TEAMS. But fortresses ARE shared. Therefore, if you have Wall of Protection in your territory, then it is ALSO technically in your teammate's territory.

I thought so, I was just thrown by the previous quote. Perhaps he was being more specific, but taken broadly it didn't sound quite right. Thanks again.
