Title: TC Characters.
Post by: megamanlan on March 06, 2017, 02:51:19 PM
I want to check to be clear on this:

Do TC effects activate when a character enters battle or returns to territory after battle? Or do things like Search effects only trigger once when placed in territory and can only be triggered again if they have left the field and are played again?

I was under the impression that unless the effect states otherwise, TC Characters don't reactivate when entering battle or when leaving battle and returning to territory.

TC characters activate each time they enter battle or are put in territory. This is why they typically have on-going/triggered abilities and not instant abilities.

What is a TC character?

TC stands for Territory Class.

Okay, so how would you word an effect on a TC Character to be only when its put in play then?

Maybe something like

First time this is put into play.

I don't think that would be the exact wording... I might just go with "When Played"
