Also, UW is not a triggered ability.

Actually it is.  It's triggered by the Hero being in battle.  The reason it can't capture ET before he plays is that a Hero isn't in battle until their ability completes.

*edit* and what Scott said.

ET's "play next" is not triggered; AS's "play first" is.

After tedious and repetetive discussion with lambo it makes a bit of sense to me.

So I could UW after blocking with huge E vs Ahimaaz with Helm of brass?

Ok, RR and I have been discussing this... and I think we found out the source of confusion.

Is Angels sword a triggered ongoing ability? Play Next is described as Instant, but the triggered part automaticly makes the card ongoing.

So... its an ongoing instant ability?

Not unless you negate Ahimaaz's protection from capture ability first.  Assuming you do that, yes you could UW before he can play from Helmet of Brass.

Not true.  The hero is in battle if it is physically in the field of battle, which happens before the ability takes effect.

What Scott said is true and correct.

Yes...roughly.   It's an ongoing effect until it is triggered, because all triggers are ongoing.  Once it is triggered it is an instantaneous play next ability.
