Title: Successful Rescue Attempt

Is it just winning the battle?

Is it actually securing a lost soul in LoR?

If I am defending and I lose the battle, and burial the only availible LS.. is that a successful rescue attempt?

If I am defending and I lose the battle, and give up the LS, only to FA it immediately.. is that a successful rescue attempt?

If I am defending and I lose the battle, and give up half an LS card, only to burial it immediately.. is that a successful rescue attempt?

If I am defending and I lose the battle, and give up half an LS card, but shuffle it with Hormah.. is that a successful rescue attempt?

If I am defending and play Grapes of Wrath, does that meet the requirements for an 'unsuccessful rescue attempt'?

I just have a bunch of questions with how to better use Graven... enjoy ;D

- From the reg, if they don't get a soul its a failed RA.

Assuming they don't have harvest time, yes ;D

First determine the outcome of the battle - win, lose, mutual, stalemate

Then determine the success/failure and (final) type of battle - win and mutual by numbers is a success for the Hero, and it's a successful rescue attempt if he has access to a Lost Soul.

If he had access but lost it before the end of battle, that counts as a failed rescue, even if he wins the resulting Battle Challenge.

Post by: Professoralstad on September 09, 2009, 05:18:43 PM: You may discard a site, assuming APole/HHI is up. So even if the attacker makes a new Rescue Attempt after Grapes, his/her first one failed, so Graven's ability would kick in. Nice combo.
