Since "Striking Herod" interrupts the battle to discard a male ec, if that ec was currently using an enhancement that was discarding or otherwise harming my hero, does that mean I'm safe and i win the ra?

yep. if there is no character left in battle to play the enhancement on, it doesn't work.
-
That is correct. Interrupts pause other abilities and insert your ability before them. In this case, if you discard the only EC in battle, the enhancement has nothing to be used on and fizzles.

Wow, then that's a pretty powerful card i'd say. Now, since it interrupts, can someone else negate it?

also yes.

do they have to have an interrupt to? or can they just play any negate card after I play mine?

Negate does interrupt

They can play any card that negates/interrupts it.
EDIT: lp is correct.
Interrupt+Prevent=Negate.

Striking Herod makes Michael useful for the very reason you posted. It interrupts the battle and any enhancement that is harming Mike, then discards the EC, and since it's Mike, it can't be negated.
-
The fact it's 7/0 tends to be more useful than the interrupt and discard. At least for me. But I suppose talking about that is getting off topic :'(

Never thought about that. That makes me very excited to get it!

Interrupt+Prevent=Negate.
I Thought someone said this is outdated?
More Like [Interrupt+Prevent~Negate]

This is true, especially in the Cannot Be abilities.
