Type: Artifact • Brigade: None • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: On activation, if you have a Genesis Hero in play, you may discard a Genesis Enhancement from hand to search your deck for a good O.T. card and add to hand. Limit twice per game. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Genesis 35:14-15 • Availability: Rock of Ages (Set 14)

Is this ability a "manually triggered" ability, or can it only be activated during the artifact activation phase? I would think the latter, but I want to verify this.

The "On activation" part requires a decision to be made as soon as the artifact is activated, which is typically in your Prep Phase. Cards like Meal in Emmaus may cause it to be activated in battle, but the decision must be made immediately after it becomes active.
