Title: St. Patty Q
Post by: YourMathTeacher on April 11, 2009, 11:01:56 AM
Just for clarification, since the first part of St. Patrick's SA does not say "may," you have no choice each time he enters battle, right? What happens if your opponent has no ECs in territory?

If the ability is optional, what from the REG/rulebook justifies that? I need to be able to defend the position.

Saint Patrick
Type: Hero Char. • Brigade: Green • Ability: 6 / 7 • Class: None • Special Ability: Discard a single-colored green Enhancement from hand with a strength or toughness of “3” to convert a human Evil Character in opponent’s territory to a green brigade Hero. This Hero is immune to evil Priests. • Identifiers: NT Male Human • Verse: Matthew 28:19 •

You always have to discard a qualifying enhancement if you can, even if no one would be converted.

So I guess you don't want green enhancements with "3" if you were hoping to use Hidden Treasures.
