Playing last week and my son played Son of God and New Jerusalem -
I had Burial, but did not know whether or not I could play it to bury my 2nd lost soul when he played the two.
I.e. what does simultaneous mean? Could the play stack happen like this:
1. Son of God
2. Burial
3. Then New Jerusalem (but there wouldn't be a soul to rescue)
Help on this?
Or in this same exact situation is there was a better strategy to use?
Thanks!

If Son of God and New Jerusalem are played together, then the player rescues two Lost Souls--nothing can happen in between them (such as Burial).
Simultaneous simply means "played at the same time." For example, a player could not use Son of God, then do something else (such as draw a card) and then play New Jerusalem. Traditionally this has meant putting them on the table at the same time.
