Title: Sixth Bowl of Wrath
Post by: SignoftheStar on April 15, 2017, 04:42:32 PM
Sixth Bowl of Wrath- Evil Enhancement- Place in territory: You may banish this to add your Evil Human King to battle.

The timing on this is very open, which leaves me with two questions:
During your own Battle Phase, could you trip Sixth Bowl
1. to begin a Taunt battle?
2. to block your own Hero?

"Add to battle" abilities have been around for a long time, going back to cards like Unknown Nation and Gates of Hell. The rule for adding a character to battle is this:

You can only use an "add to battle" ability to add a character to your side of the battle and only if the character is the correct alignment for that battle.

Add to battle is not "taunt". Add to battle is not "choose the blocker". It functions very similar to a band ability except that it doesn't require another character of the same alignment to be in battle already.

Okay. Probably should have checked the REG before asking this question.

Thanks, Gabe.
