Can I add an evil human king to a taunt battle challenge after the opponent has declined to accept? If yes, do they get another chance to accept?

If I use Sixth Bowl of Wrath to add Amaziah, the Arrogant to a taunt battle challenge, does his special ability work to force acceptance of the taunt battle?

Based on rulings that you can add Sites from territory to battle after the opponent has declined to block a battle challenge, you can use Sixth Bowl to add a king here. Those same rulings still allow the opponent to block after that change, so the opponent could still defend.

Amazing cannot choose a Hero during a taunt, because the Hero is not attacking - the taunting characters are.
