Side Battle question

I was a blue brigade Hero sent to a side battle by "Christians suing another" and then I played "Abraham's descendant" to interrupt the EE and get out of the side battle. Was that right?

Yes, as long as Christian Suing Another was not played on Simon the Magician (who makes NT evil enhancements cannot be negated), then you can negate/interrupt CSA to stop the side battle and send the Hero back to the main battle.
