RA, I block, cause a side battle, choose my own hero and play Pentecost.  When does the hero come back?  On my turn, or my opponent's next turn?

Also, "In Battle" defaults to current battle, right?

I believe so, however I'm pretty sure "field of battle" includes all battles (like for Rizpah's Sackloth).
