When do cards (DAEs, converted characters, etc.) reset? I know when they got deck or discard, but hand as well?

All cards reset in hand, deck, and discard.  Also, for what they are when in a reset location, please note that it has been ruled that:

"A Covenant/Curse is both an Enhancement and an Artifact, and can be targeted as either (in hand, deck, or discard pile) until it is played, held, activated, or placed in Artifact pile as one or the other. A Covenant/Curse that is played or held as an Enhancement can no longer be targeted as an Artifact, and a Covenant/Curse that is activated or placed in the Artifact pile can no longer be targeted as an Enhancement. They are still always targetable as a Covenant/Curse."
, and DAE are both good AND evil while in those locations (as per the definition of DAE).

All cards reset in hand, deck, and discard.
...except cards like Jephthah or Holy Grail which say "per game" in their special ability.  Those do NOT reset anywhere in regards to those limitations.

But in those cases it is the all-knowing Game that keeps track of the counters, since the counters span across all copies of the card (you can 'reset' Jephthah to face value to remove certain conditions while the Game still knows that no copy of him can be used again in terms of SA).

It is a very wise Game ;)
