The following are considered Syrians:

The following need to be added to the list of Syrians:

For biblical support, please see Genesis 28-30.

Interesting find. But then shouldn't Moses, Aaron and Miriam be considered Egyptians? Currently the only Egyptian Heroes are Midwives and Pharaoh's daughter, according to the REG. I guess it comes down to, what really defines a person from a civilization? Is it that they were born there? That they were most known (or completely known) from being from that civilization? It might be a somewhat important question to have answered, in this and other cases.

Blood and birth, IMHO.

Nice find, Scott. I can't see how there would be any question about Leah and Rachel.

I think that would be Rob Anderson. ;)

Yeah, Leah and Rachel are full-bloods. The twelve boys are half-bloods but were born at Laban's which we can only assume is in Syria.

I think it's much safer to assume that Laban's was in Syria than... say... some place like Iowa.

I wouldn't be so sure of that ;)
