Title: Rabsaris Name-on-Name
Post by: BubbleBoy on June 01, 2009, 07:43:48 PM: The Rabshakeh Attacks (http://redemptionreg.com/REG/therabshakehattacks.htm), The Rabsaris Attacks (http://redemptionreg.com/REG/therabsarisattacks.htm), and The Tartan Attacks (http://redemptionreg.com/REG/thetartanattacks.htm) all have the same Biblical reference. Since The Rabsaris (http://redemptionreg.com/REG/therabsaris.htm) itself shares that same reference, does he get Name-on Name bonus for all of these enhancements?

No. He gets name-on-name bonus with The Rabsaris Attacks because his name is in the card title of that card. He does not get Name-on-name bonus for the other two.

I am aware of that, but according to this thread (http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/index.php?topic=15582.15), as well as a couple judges at tourneys I've been to, I have come to understand that Name-on-Name bonus can be derived from the enhancement having the same verse as the character, as well as from having the same name.

Post by: RedemptionAggie on June 01, 2009, 09:05:23 PM: They have to share a name (more or less). If they share a name and it's ambiguous as to who the enhancement title is referring to, like with Angel's Sword or Egyptian Spear, then you can you use the verse to determine who gets name-on-name.
