Hopper is like an extra card....... Doesn't count to d-b requirements.

The hopper doesn't count for deckbuilding requirements of Lost Souls, nor for Sites. So no, if you have 7 souls + hopper, you can only have 7 sites.

Also, why would anyone use the hopper anymore? With the new FBTN soul out, it's become more of a liability.

but once it's placed it doesn't go back to your's does it? Only if the ftbn is out first it'd work.

Correct. So it's a matter of who draws their soul first. With two decks of similar size, it's ~50/50. I don't like those odds when the cost is a deck slot AND an extra soul for my opponent to rescue, with the benefit being an extra soul for me to rescue. There are better ways of accomplishing that benefit that aren't as risky IMO.

i was to a party thing with people who didn't own any Disciples cards so i wasn't to worried about that.
