Post by: Farin on October 21, 2010, 04:25:35 AM
From reading the rulebook....its not clear on how many a player can play at a time....what is the ruling on that?

Any number of characters can be played from hand into territory during the preparation and discard phases. Without using any banding abilities (like on James, Son of Zebedee, for instance), only one character can enter battle on each side.

Be careful of unique and generic. You can have same copies of generic down at the same time but not unique. Just saying...xp

Ok. I figured as much. Also, can one have mulitples of unique characters in a deck? its really confusing to me.  Like Job's wife, could someone have more the 1 in a deck?

Cards with special abilities (text on the picture) are limited to 1 per 50.  So you could have multiple copies of a character in a large enough deck.

yeah and cards have different variants so you can have one of each variant. ex..pharisees, Sadducee, elders of Jerusalem.

Note: The backwards fish on the apostles cards doesn't count as a variant.

No. You can have 1 single color character with a special ability per fifty cards. So 50-99=1; 100-149=2; and 150-154=3. This is the same for everything except dominants and multicolored cards.

In Type 1, that is.

Unless it is a site or super unique, of course.
