Title: Plauged with Diseases
Post by: Isildur on August 29, 2010, 09:34:49 PM
Does any one know if this card is still broken or not? I never remember this getting resolved in the thread it was brought up in....

And what was J Tower errata'd to exactly?

Thanks!

Whatever the ruling on this turns out to be, we need to make it consistent with Strengthening Angel.

j-tower is a protect now.

J tower is a restrict now, and restrict won't be officially defined until the new REG comes out.

Plauged with diseases is permanent if played as an enhancement, Is that what you're reffering to?

That thread is out-dated, theres a more recent post by Bryon about it. Also,
Quote
Play As: Restrict opponents' from removing cards from holder’s deck. Deck may still be searched, revealed, and/or shuffled
.

EDIT: So by means of Redemption, what is the definition of "Restrict"?

So by means of Redemption, what is the definition of "Restrict"?
It's like a negate that affects game functions rather than card abilities.

It seems more like a prevent of functions than a negate.

For an example, Darius Decree restricts opponents from playing good enhancements if no EC is in battle.

So would W@tW & HT still work since it is a restrict or no? Even with cbn status...

Restrict is not negating, it's simply reducing the number of targets. So CBN means nothing since it's not trying to negate.

Jerusalem Tower is a protect now.  The was a communication gap between the REG update and the final decision that it will be worded as a protect.

When is the new REG scheduled for release?

Jerusalem Tower is a protect now.
+1 This is also the latest ruling that I am aware of.
