Hi there,

topic tries to say it all: According to the REG entry regarding healing I wonder why a heal GE needs territory class? If I understand Heal ability correctly a heal GE can be played anytime when necessary - so territory class of such an enhancement will not provide any advantage.

Or did I miss something here?

Thank you in advance for some clarification resp. details.

Bye

Heal can remove things like paralyze, not just save characters from dying.

well, yes, but you can still use the heal to stop the paralyzing pretty much whenever you need to. there isn't much of a reason to put it on there, except that I think it will allow you to play it at any time during you turn as well, so if you need to get rid of a card, but there are no heal targets, you could still play the card, so you won't have to end your turn. I hope that makes sense.

Well did not get this entirely. Does this mean I can use "normal" heal enhancements during my turn outside battle (or even outside my turn) to heal paralised characters which are not about to be discarded?

Ok, thanks. But this brings me back to my initial question regarding the benefit of territory class for healing enhancements then.

Heal and set aside enhancements should have always had a territory class from the beginning! When Redemption started there was no such thing you could just play certain cards in your territory. Now that we have territory class enhancements and characters and symbols to let us know when we can play territory class. I think it's a great idea that we now put the territory class symbol on all enhancements that are played in your territory even set aside and heal enhancements that way it's not confusing to when you can't play it and when you can play it. Especially to a new player. Does that make sense?

@Jeremystair:
Yes, this makes sense. But in case of Heal which I could also play out of my turn and out of battle these possibilities even exceed the territory marker in my opinion.
Nevertheless regarding the points you mentioned it gives more clarity and provide a visual indicator for it. ATM it still confuses me a little in this particular case - but that's my "problem".  ;D

I get what you're saying but take for instance love it heals converts and then it's a place on card: I guess it doesn't need it it just makes it easier. And besides most heal cards are played in battle or on owners turn even though you can play it on your opponent's turn it's not normally played like that.

If you're playing a Luke/John deck, you may not need healing enhancements anymore...

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Set-aside cards should not necessarily get territory-class, as they then have to be worded more stringently.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
