Title: Placed enhancements and Heal.
Post by: Lamborghini_diablo on August 22, 2014, 09:16:23 PM
If a character with Tclass enhancements placed on it is discarded, and I heal it immediately after, do the placed enhancements remain?

Alternate side question: A character with Tclass enhancements placed on it is returned to hand. Do the enhancements follow?
Answer to this one is yes:
Quote
If a card is placed on another card and the underlying card is relocated, the placed card is generally relocated to the same location that the underlying card is relocated and remains there.

Healing reverts the card to the state it was prior to being discarded as far as changed numbers/gained abilities, etc. Not sure if it retains held/placed cards.

If I play a healing enhancement after my character is in the discard pile and I don't have a hero in territory of matching brigade, I don't understand how I can play the healing enhancement off of a character who is not in play?

"Heal" has been one of the most unique abilities since the game began. It has always been able to be used that way, and there hasn't been an urgent need to change it.

As to the original question, Heal allows you to retain the enhancements placed on the healed Hero.

I also noticed the following:

"The ability to use healing cards outside of battle does not apply to characters with heal abilities. The heal ability on a character can only be activated in battle."

Is this going to be reworded to allow for cards like Peter (TEC)?

Cool, thanks.

It certainly should be reworded, good catch.
