Title: Pending ability is last card played?
Post by: Watchman on February 14, 2019, 08:25:23 AM
If my opponent is rescuing with an angel that has captain’s sword equipped, and I block with a warrior that’s equipped with Ish’s Sword, does Ish’s Sword target CS’s ability or the angel’s ability since CS is a conditional, pending ability? Either scenario: what if the angel was not losing by the numbers or was losing by the numbers? Would this make a difference?

Captain’s Sword - At any time if your Heroes are being defeated by the strength of evil cards in battle, you may discard Captain's Sword to withdraw all Heroes.

Ish’s Sword - Negate the last good card played by opponent in battle.

The weapon is the last good card played in battle (weapons activate after the character they are equipped upon).

+ it would not matter if Captain is losing by the numbers either.
