Hi there,
just to want to get it right. I am asking for constellations which can occur with two or more ongoing abilities which influence each other across phases.
I am talking about TC characters. My understanding is that they deactivate when going from territory into battle and immediatelly reactivate in battle - as well as they other way around (deactivate in battle when returning to territory and immediatelly reactivate in territory). Am I right here?
For example following constellations:
- When Priest of Zeus is active and Moses (CoW) is played afterwards by same player then Priest stays active due to its non-interruption.
- If Moses (CoW) would have been played before Priest then Priest do not activate since it is prevented.
- In 1. case if Priest enters battle (while Moses stays in territory) and returns to territory it would try to reactivate but is prevented by Moses (CoW).
- In 2. case if Moses returns to territory after battle (while Priest stayed there all the time and became active while Moses left territory) and Moses reactivates - then Priest's ability is now no longer negated since it cannot be interrupted.
Am I right in all these things?
Thank you for your clarification!
Bye

All of that sounds right to me.

Highly interactive game! ;D

I'm not sure #4 is correct. Moses doesn't stop negating characters in territories when he enters battle, so unless I'm mistaken PoZ never has a chance to activate.
-
How does the Punisher lost soul and Moses work?
-
#4 is slightly incorrect - when Moses enters battle, his ability reactivates, so the prevent ends and he tries to interrupt Priest of Zeus. Priest works from the beginning of the battle, not the end.
Punisher can be negated, so if Moses is out first, he prevents it. If Moses is put in play after the Punisher and he pushes the number of brigades past 3, I think Moses is prevented.

Based on the combination of both of these, if Moses was down before Punisher (and I have more than three good brigades in play), so Moses is negating Punisher, then if I attack with Moses he would be negated. That is, if Priest of Zeus's ability is able to activate in between Moses being in territory and in battle then so should Punisher. I don't remember what the result was the last time this conversation was had but I believe it was ruled that Moses (and TC characters in general) don't turn off for a window of time between territory and battle.

So if the Punisher lost soul is down I have let's say silver Brigade in my territory and I put Moses from my hand into battle does that automatically trigger the Punisher lost soul?
I just thought that when Moses hits play he would automatically negate the lost soul first. How would the lost soul know that there is four brigades in play until after Moses' special ability completes negating Punisher?

Yes, that's right. Thanks for clarification!

So basically as soon as Moses leaves territory, priest starts working?

I'm not sold on this. If that is the case then the Punisher would negate Moses once he leaves territory even if Moses was previously negating the Punisher. In my opinion it makes more sense for other stuff to not be able to insert their abilities in between when Moses is in territory and in battle but if that's the ruling that's fine with me as long as it's consistent.

That is indeed the way it currently works.
