I know this was debated but I can't remember the resolution. When and how can my opponent negate Gold Shield if my blocking character uses it on their rescuing hero?
With the previous or new brigades, with or without initiative?

It must be negated with initiative and with the new brigade.

What do you mean initiative? since when do artifacts need initiative? do you mean to say that you cant negate it because it is no longer in play and in the discard pile instead?

HELLO! arts and enh are diferant just encase you havnt noticed. you have to use it ability befor it is being discarded. its like domanants you cant use them till your opponents ability is being used first. dude get real.

Second of all, whether it is me or Cameron, have a little respect. We have both been playing for quite a while. From your posts so far on the board you have proven yourself to be a noob and in need of vast amounts of education on etiquite and card play. A little respect in your posts would be a good start when dealing with me.
Third your post MAKES NO SENSE!!! of COURSE I know the difference between arts and Enh. IF you are trying to say that I cannot use Covenant of Noah because Gold SHield h as been discarded then you will find out ( if you re-read my post) that I already SAID THAT! So get off your high and mighty horse and be careful how you post. Real people are behind these words

Normally you could use Covenant with Noah as an artifact to negate it, since it does not require initiative, except that in this case the evil enhancement is no longer in play.

Yeah, that is what I thought i meant when I said that lol. that just makes Gold shield a VERY powerful card. how many people carry an intterupt in every brigade just to counter this one card? unless you AotL the EC in territory, its as good as a block.

Or use I Am Grace (I think) that discards an evil enhancement.
Of course, if your opponent is going to play it from HAND, well... use a Genesis/I Am Holy deck. :)
