I need some verification on a ruling.

Lot's Wife bands to SWS, who exchanges for KoT, who negates SWS but not Lot's wife, thereby leaving SWS, and Lot's wife in an FBTN battle. 

I think this is how it goes.

Doesn't Negate only target the last instant ability used in battle?     You're right, of course it would.
