Post by: Claude on August 16, 2008, 07:30:56 PM

So is Glory of the Lord the only Dominant that you can target?

What about when some plays Angel of the Lord on your Character?  He is going to be discarded but is it possible to interrupt that and play desecrate the temple to discard AotL?

And what about Son of God? or New Jersalem? Can you discard them?  However you would not be negating them so the oppenent would still get to rescue in all three cases.  Right?

The only (good) Dominant you can presently target in territory is Glory of the Lord.  Although you may lay other Dominants on the table when you play them, they are only there until their effect takes place, then they're discarded.  Dominants cannot be interrupted/negated and I don't believe AotL/SoG/NJ are ever considered "in territory" even when you play them.

That is when you hope they don't have an active artifact or temple in play, then you can discard SoG from there deck!

Is there any other cards that can discard dominants?

Is there any other cards that can discard dominants?

Confusion (pale green) will let you search their deck for any card and discard it (*cough* SoG *cough*).

High Priests Plot will let you discard any good card from their hand if you play it on a Sadducee (*cough* SoG *cough*).

 ;D

Jerusalem Tower will protect your deck from confusion.

Is there anything to protect your hand from High Priest Plot? Other then hoping you don't have son of God at the time.
